Workshops at CircusTrainingsCentrum

Eichstraße 50a in Salzburg/Gnigl

If you are interested in acrobatics, juggling and other circus disciplines, come and visit us in our CircusTrainingsCentre. Collect new experiences, learn new tricks and improve your technique under the guidance of professional trainers and Winterfest artists.

Registration starts on 11 November (at 11:00) at ctc-salzburg.at (limited number of participants).

For beginners

Saturday, 8. December
Short presentations with subsequent training of circus arts

Aerials – with Anna Sandreuter • juggling– with Benjamin Büche • partneracrobatics – with Heidi Neumayer & Armin Raderbauer

Please take tight fitting, comfortable sports apparel with you, no shoes needed.

Requirements: No background knowledge required
Time:
Children, teenagers and adults from the age of six years up: 10:00 – 12:00
Adults from the age of 16 years up: 14:00 – 16:00
Costs: Adults € 30,-
Children and teenagers € 20,–

For advanced participants

Sunday, 9. December
Sebastian Berger: Vertical fishtail balances – contact rod manipulation

Sebastian Berger developed many of today’s common 3-rod-tosses and balance techniques (Fishtail) and gained international reputation. Vertical balances are a trick family that was developed rapidly within fishtails. In this workshop, Sebastian Berger trains the participants on the fundamental control elements as well as the most important positions and connecting paths of manipulation.

Requirements: stable fishtail (forward and/or backwards)
Time: 10:00– 12:00
Costs: Adults € 30,–

For advanced participants

Sunday, 9. December
Arne Mannott: Object manipulation in/and movement

Is is still juggling if the object is not up in the air? Since 18 years, Arne Mannott concentrates on juggling and object manipulation adding dance and movement to his performances. This workshop focuses on different varieties and contemporary forms of juggling. A very physical approach leads to experiments and discovering the connection between movement and tosses/juggling patterns. Simple, technical exercises alternate with creative exercises for your own creation.

Requirements: Basic juggling technique. The focus lies on ball juggling. You are invited to take your own object with you!
Time: 13:00– 17:30 incl. break
