Every year, the Kaleidoskop presents a selection of current and especially interesting performances from the German speaking circus scene. This year, it’s all about juggling and object manipulation. From 7. – 9. December Stefan Sing, Sebastian Berger, Arne Mannott & Elina Lautamäki are presenting their current shows: Stefan Sing is a master of choreografic juggling. In an almost organic symbiosis, he seems to become one with the stage and balls, creating complex pyramids only to destroy them in time … Stefan Singers’ performance in »Entropía« is minimal and virtuoso, meditative and ecstatic.
Two performances at once are presented in the Contemporary Circus Double with »Dot & Line« and »Fallhöhe«. Sebastian Berger, Arne Mannott und Elina Lautamäki experiment with influences from different fields of art, combine object manipulation with dance and the absurd with the poetic. Whoever is inspired by the performances, is invited to special workshops at the CircusTrainingsCentrum which take place on 8 and 9 December.
